Atomeca

Atomeca, a European drinkery and wine bar was the first commercial offering to open at Deansgate Square. Created by award-winning bartending duo Joe & Daniel Schofield, and wine expert James Brandwood, with stunning interiors designed by Lister+Lister - the renowned interior architects of the main lobby of Deansgate Square. Atomeca champions the best food and drink from the UK and continental Europe with teas, coffee and delicious pastries in the morning, and tapas-style plates in the evening, complimented perfectly with an extensive wine list, and carefully curated cocktail menu, all available to both residents and non-residents, seven days a week.

Atomeca is located adjacent to the main lobby of Deansgate Square, fronting onto the River Medlock and is open seven days a week.

General Store

Deansgate Square is home to much-loved independent retailer, General Store, offering the very best of the Store Group’s trademark “corner-shop concept” to the cities landmark development. Spanning 4,500 sq. ft General Store Deansgate Square is the brand’s largest retail offering, championing local makers from food and drink to homeware. Resident’s benefit from all household essentials on their doorstep plus fresh flowers, an on-site coffee shop and changing independent food retailers.

Store Group is an innovative and independent retailer with community and collaboration at its heard. Founded in 2006 by Mital Morar, the company is about blending traditional independence convenience store values with a modern, innovative shopping experience.

General Store is located on the ground floor on the amenity building, and is open seven days a week.

Salvi’s

Salvi’s Deansgate Square is the 3rd opening of the Manchester institution who have just celebrated 10 years in the city. Taking inspiration from both existing sites and owner Maurizio Cecco’s native Naples; much of its offering is based on original family recipes created by his mother, Nonna Teresa. Salvi’s offers a variety of cuisine, from gelato to pizza via cicchetti, alongside Italian wines, beers spritz and a deli for takeaway – all served with Salvi’s now famous Mancunian warmth. The dining area features an Amalfi inspired outside private dining room, the first of it’s kind in the city – which is available to book for events, private dinners and Maurizio’s ever-popular pasta making classes.

Salvi’s Deansgate Square is open seven days a week.

Flourish

Flourish Deansgate Square is the 4th opening for the award-winning family business. With over 30 years experience, Flourish is now firmly established as one of Manchester’s most popular outlets for plant life and advocates for a greener and more sustainable lifestyle – a concept important to both the Deansgate Square community and Manchester.

Situated at the bottom of East Tower, Flourish is open seven days a week.

Kitten

Deansgate Square is proud to be home to Kitten, Manchester’s latest flagship dining destination that blends modern Japanese fine-dining and contemporary cocktails in a stunning setting.

Boasting exceptional interiors including vast eight metre high ceilings, bamboo walls Venetian plastering, and an extensive marbled bar, Kitten has been hailed as one of the most visually striking settings in the city.

Guests can sit in on the action, with a front row seat to the esteemed sushi chefs at work serving an exquisite raw menu ranging from black and blue tuna with pickled kohlrabi and squid ink tuille to Wagyu beef Tataki with truffle ponzu, sliced truffle, chives and crispy shallots. A semi-open kitchen also allows a glimpse at one of the largest Robatayak grills in Manchester.

Across the weekend, guests can enjoy live music, DJs and entertainment, and the extensive cocktail menu featuring Japanese twists on classics.

Food Sorcery

We are thrilled to announce that Food Sorcery has opened the doors to its new venue here at Deansgate Square.

Delivering a twist on the traditional perception of cookery classes, Food Sorcery puts the 'oo' in food with fun foodie activities designed to bring people together and let them try their hand at cooking food from all over the world.

Guided by an expert chef in a fully equipped kitchen environment, customers can have a go at making anything from sushi and pasta to traditional Korean or middle eastern classics, before enjoying the fruits of their labours with something from Food Sorcery's fantastic wine list.

Located on the ground floor of West Tower, Food Sorcery's unique workspace is available to book for private dining, team building or client entertaining and is the perfect venue from which to launch new products, train chefs, conduct food development days, or for food photography, filming and social content creation.

CLNQ

CLNQ Deansgate Square is a luxury boutique aesthetic, wellness and cosmetic surgery clinic owned by plastic surgeon Mr Nassab and Dr Babamiri.  This is their second clinic in the region, with the first nestled in the Cheshire village of Knutsford. CLNQ offers a holistic approach to health, wellbeing and anti-ageing using the latest advances in surgical and non-surgical procedures. Medlock Canteen

Medlock Canteen is the latest concept from the team behind Belzan and Madre. Inspired by the informality, accessibility and hospitality of American Diners and Parisian Bistros, its menu is centred around dishes ‘you know and love to eat’ – from favourite breakfast dishes, a strong sandwich game and hearty dinners, to a rotisserie chicken oven. Locals are invited to take a seat and as long as they desire with bottomless coffee and an all day menu to keep eaters, drinkers and workers fuelled. Medlock Canteen is located on the square at Deansgate Square.
