As part of our commitment to making Deansgate Square the best place to live in Manchester, we appointed a dedicated Head of Experience, who works closely with our on-site teams and commercial partners to develop a carefully curated calendar of events for both residents and the wider public to enjoy.

JUNE | 2023
Global Wellness Day
Our residents recently took part in a special dance event at Deansgate Square to mark Global Wellness Day and highlight the importance of living a healthy life.
Massive thanks to fitness software experts Virtua Gym, our inhouse dance lead, Natalie, fellow resident and founder of Gaia Skincare, Diane, and well-being company Feast & Flow for making the day possible. Everyone who took part enjoyed putting their best foot forward, before tucking into some delicious and healthy snacks afterwards!

Manchester Flower Festival
To celebrate the start of summer and Manchester Flower Festival, our commercial operator Flourish, and their friends Penny & Co, put on drop-in workshops for dogs and their well-behaved owners to learn how to make floral accessories for their collars and harnesses! With giveaways, a special prize to be won, and a Penny & Co pop-up shop full of doggy delights, it was a great day to be one of our #dogsofdeansgatesquare!

Live From The Lobby - May Bank Holiday edition
Over the weekend, Manchester-born singer/songwriter and fellow Deansgate Square resident Nina Morton presented a special bank holiday Live From The Lobby event!
The featured artists were @gracekellymusic @1matthewhobin @amiialexx and @kemani_anderson who all performed amazing sets for our residents in our stunning concierge area. It's been a while since our last Live From The Lobby event and it was great to welcome it back again!

International Women's Day
It was great to see so many residents enjoying themselves at The Club yesterday for a special International Women's Day yoga session, hosted by our very own yogi, Kate!
We teamed up with wellbeing company Feast and Flow for the event and they provided attendees with a delicious post-class lunch and a goody bag - the perfect way to round off a busy morning!
DECEMBER | 2022
The Enchanted Forest at Deansgate Square
Getting to share Christmastime with our residents and all the Forest's visitors was a real pleasure and with 250 real trees, a 20ft Nordman fir tree, a visit from Santa, some ACTUAL SNOW and plenty of incredible live music, there was a whole lot of cheer to go round.
Younger visitors loved the forest fairies and gonks hide and seek and Christmas decoration making workshops, while our older residents had a great time at Spirit of Manchester's festive drinks sampling event!
Award-winning cookery school Food Sorcery's Golden Ticket Giveaway proved a hit with foodies who were desperate to win free places on one of its Cooking Together classes and the special winter food and drinks being served up by Salvi's, Nonna's Pasta, Kitten, Atomeca and General Store were out of this world!

Live from the Grill
We loved seeing so many happy faces at @mcrfinest's #livefromthegrill event last weekend at @deansgatesquare, with more than 4,000 people (and quite a few of their pampered pooches) attending over the two days.
We can't pick our favourite food of the weekend as @thatbgrplace, @salvismcr, @thegreenlabdsg and @kitten.restaurant all served up some mouthwatering delights.
Hats off too to @rescoldogrills for providing the grills and to @habitat.mcr, @pr1ncethekid, @ak_gramm, @tone.rarri, @sambrinkworth, @shadev_, @theweighup._, @ceeow._, @lenny343, @the.beautiful.sinners, @rmonahmusic_ and @komidashi for so many hours of unforgettable tunes.

Meet the Chef
Food Sorcery delivered a Sushi Workshop for residents in the private dining room. The event was practical and sociable with participants able to eat what they created with their friends and neighbours during the session or take it away at the end.

Sound Bath
Residents at Deansgate Square were treated to a fabulous event on Saturday afternoon as Nigel Meadows took them on a Sound Bath Journey on the rooftop garden - and once everyone was thoroughly refreshed and relaxed, they enjoyed a healthy and nutritious brunch at The Green Lab.

Jubilee
Our residents love a social, and over the Jubilee weekend, we threw a little rooftop garden party to honour her Majesty - there was music, dancing and plenty of sun!
It was the perfect way for residents to get to know their neighbours and just one of the many social events at Deansgate Square that make up our carefully curated social calendar.

Basketball
At Deansgate Square, a fundamental aspect of the development is to build a strong community of residents, and last weekend’s charity event was a great demonstration of just that.
In aid of Cancer Research UK, our wonderful residents held a charity basketball tournament in our full-sized sports hall, which featured special guests from @mcrgiants, entertainment from talented hip-hop dance crews @fiercefraternity and @theashcompany, a live DJ, a three-point contest and a prize raffle draw. The event was a huge success and overall, our residents managed to raise over £1,200 for a great cause.
